Edith and Eduardo endured so many uncertainty this year of 2020. There were so many changes happening right before their special day. Just like many couples, they were faced with a global pandemic. Although this wasn’t the celebration they’ve dreamed of, it was still magical. Instead they had a small backyard wedding with their immediate family. Small, intimate and still so special.
A huge misconception about backyard weddings, micro-weddings and even elopements is that details don’t exist. That is far from the truth. Yes the wedding is scaled down in guest number, but that doesn’t mean you also need to skip out on the details.
Edith and Eduardo still did an intimate first look, had all the beautiful florals for details and we still had time to include bride and groom photos, family formals and detail shots within their 2 hour timeline! (That’s a win if you ask us!)
Elopements, Backyard Weddings and Micro-Weddings should not be seen as a “backup” plan. Instead, we should celebrate it as it’s own! Let’s change our perspective and see it as an opportunity to maximum your wedding budget with all the details you’ve always wanted on a smaller scale of guest. Look at it as a chance to invite the ones who truly matter to you.
