As a Stockton Maternity Photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing Edith and Eduardo’s pregnancy at Oak Grove Regional Park. From the moment we arrived, their adorable labradoodle puppy Winston stole the show! We knew it was going to be a fun session.
It’s amazing to think that we started our photography journey together back in 2020. They were the first couple who trusted us to capture their wedding day when we first started. However, due to the pandemic, we ended up doing their intimate ceremony in their backyard. It was an honor to be a part of it celebrating them.
Fast forward to 2023, and here we are capturing their maternity session.
It’s a privilege to witness and document this incredible moment in their lives as they prepare to become parents. Seeing them start their own family is an incredibly special moment, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
With our medium format film camera (Contax 645), we were able to create truly magical images. Film photography has a unique quality that captures the beauty of the moment. Film captures beauty in a way that digital simply can’t replicate. It’s a timeless medium that adds a sense of nostalgia and emotion to the images.
Throughout the blog, you’ll see the emotion and connection between the couple and their pup. There’s something special about capturing these moments in a natural and authentic way. The documentary and directed approach is how we get genuine galleries. It’s important to allow the love and connection to shine through.
