We got lucky with the most caring and kindest couple. The weekend of their engagement session, Matt and I got COVID. Yes, I couldn’t believe it either. If you know us, you know how careful we are. Especially with going out and sanitizing ourselves and wearing our masks. But we are living proof, that it could happen to anyone, even if you’re still practicing social distancing and being safe.
Unfortunately, we had to reschedule twice due to lingering symptoms, but we are so thankful for these two! We finally got to meet Sam and Evan in person at the Sacramento State Capitol. Oh man, was it a beautiful day for an engagement session celebrating these two!
We love it when we get to connect and form real genuine relationships with our #dmcouples. Getting to know our couples on a deeper level has always been one of my favorite things about our “job”. Sam and Evan relationship reminds me of Matt and I. They’re best friends, authentic and trust and honestly seems to be a big role in their relationship. Which we truly admire. We love that they could be genuinely themselves as a couple and yet show amazing characters as individuals as well.
I cannot wait to spend the day with ya’ll on your wedding day at Mulvaney’s B&L. We’re excited to explore more of downtown Sacramento capturing your Husband and Wife portraits.
