I had the pleasure of capturing Brooke and Myles’ rooftop engagement session. I couldn’t be more excited to share their modern love story with you. The rooftop of their apartment complex provided a stunning backdrop for their photos. Which perfectly capturing their refined and classic style.
Brooke, originally from New York, and Myles, from the Bay Area in CA, had a serendipitous meeting on Bumble. What surprised them even more was discovering that they had numerous mutual friends, despite their bicoastal relationship. I believe it was truly meant to be as their worlds collided being from separate coast.
We’re eagerly looking forward to the cultural inclusion of a Jewish traditionally ceremony next year. For their engagement session, they wanted a look that exuded modern sophistication, while still maintaining a timeless feel. Which we included the city vibes to match the overall wedding aesthetics.
We began the shoot on the rooftop of their apartment complex, basking in the glow of the golden hour. The panoramic views of the city served as a breathtaking backdrop, accentuating the love and connection between Brooke and Myles. The rooftop’s sleek and contemporary design perfectly complemented their refined style. Creating a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and classic romance.
Transitioning to their lovely downtown area, we embraced the vibrant energy of the city streets. Against the backdrop of towering buildings and bustling urban life, Brooke and Myles radiated joy and happiness. Their love story came alive amidst the vibrant cityscape, capturing the essence of their journey together.
Throughout the session, we incorporated various transitional elements to create a seamless flow between the different settings and moods. From the intimate rooftop shots to the urban city vibe. Every photograph told a part of Brooke and Myles’ unique love story.
The one must have shot requested by our couple was this staple Campbell view. A creative graffiti wall that says “LOVE” next to the water tower that displays the words Campbell. Coincidently together reading, “Love Campbell”.
As their photographer, it was a privilege to witness and document the love shared of Brooke and Myles. Their rooftop engagement session perfectly encapsulated their modern love story, a blend of New York charm and West Coast allure.
