Shyenne and Morgan Engagement session was definitely beautiful but wasn’t easy! This was our second attempt to the Pulgas Water Temple.
As most of you might know, we aren’t from the Bay Area, although we do travel here for work very often. For us to travel to the Pulgas Water Temple was about an hour and 45 minute drive. But for Shy & Morgan, it was definitely a tad longer since they were traveling from Sacramento. Once we arrived on Saturday to this location, we weren’t expecting a Wedding to happen! The entire location was closed and we had to think fast! I know Shy had this location set in her heart and although we had a back up location, I didn’t want them to settle for something that wasn’t ideal for their engagement photos!
So yes, we rescheduled. We were near their Wedding Venue so instead we did a tour with the lovely couple and got to know them better. We connected so well that we found we had many things in common! One of my favorite things about being a Photographer is building new friendships with our couples. We talked for hours and hung out and decided to come back on a weekday.
So this time we attempted to go on a Monday! Matt being the dedicated business partner and awesome duo that he is called into work. We HAD to make this happen for Shy and Morgan. We arrived at the Temple and let me tell ya. It was BREATHETAKING! It was grand, beautiful and so worth the second trip out there!
I was able to capture such a gorgeous engagement session on both digital and film! A medium of Photography that I’ve been inspired to pursue for a while.
