Maternity Session in Pacific Grove

OH MAN! Was this maternity session in pacific grove a cold one!

When Liz and I planned this beachy maternity session, we didn’t expect the cloudy, windy, cold weather. Although… I should have known! I use to live here not to long ago.

When people think of California, they think of sunny beaches. I’m here to tell you that the central coast of California is everything but that. The central coast holds many beautiful beaches, hiking trails and …. the COLD! It is always freezing up here! But I’m so glad we had such a strong couple who were troopers through all the wind! Especially Aiden! He was having the time of his life! Aiden seriously loves the beach! He did not let wind or the cold stop him! He ran into the ocean, was digging in sand on his knees and running all over the place with excitement! Even with all his excitement, he was such a good boy during the whole session.

Liz and Armando were just as amazing!

They were so fun to work with because all of the laughter and joy they brought. Armando was whispering in Liz’s ear about how he loves to drink beer. Liz broke into laughter and I caught the cutest most genuine moments of them being their natural cute self, together! Like you guys! Look at all the cute genuine smiles that Liz is showing off!

So that doesn’t surprise me with Aiden! His personality is filled with so much joy! I truly believe when you’re surrounded by fun, positivity and laughter, your life tends to be much happier. I felt the happiness from this little family. Aiden especially caught me by surprise! He was so loving to both. He ran all over the beach picking flowers to hand to his mom.

When her dress got wet and caught in sand, he came running to pull it out. When she was on the floor in the sand for some cute posing, he helped her get up! I have no doubt in my mind that Aiden will grow up to always love, protect and adore his mom.

There’s nothing sweeter than mother and son bond. But you guys …. Armando hasn’t always been in Aiden’s life. Armando, you are such an amazing person by stepping in being that father figure to Aiden. If you guys don’t know the story of these three, you wouldn’t have a doubt in your mind that Aiden was his own son. To see Aiden looking up to Armando, shows that not being biologically related to a child doesn’t make you any less of a parent. Being a real parent isn’t in the DNA, it’s in the heart.

I know Liz and Aiden truly appreciate you.

If ya’ll can handle being in the cold and wind for this photoshoot… If Armando can handle working overtime and rushing to the photoshoot right after… If Liz can handle driving an hour to a destination maternity session, pregnant... I’m positive your family can handle what the universe will throw at you. Your little baby is going to grow up super strong just like you three.
