Patricia and Jesus maternity session in Oak Grove Regional Park was such a beautiful session to capture. We love this location when we have couples who want to stay in Stockton for their portrait session. But this time it was different. Patricia and Jesus came to us all the way from San Diego! I know, I can’t believe it either. San Diego is about a few hour drive, almost 8 hours to be exact. We were shocked and honored to have been there photographers for such a special milestone in their life.
I absolutely loved the color tones Patricia went for her gowns. They were so elegant, romantic and perfect for a summer night in California. The sunset, golden landscape and the lush greenery made for the perfect location. Although it was a little warm this day, you couldn’t even tell because these two rocked these poses like models. Seriously, we had to asked them if they were models because they were such naturals in front of the camera!
We loved getting to know these two and immersing ourselves in their lifestyle and city culture back in San Diego. It really gave me perspective on how big California really is or even how big the world really is. Two different cities, two different lifestyles and yet we connected like we were great long friends. Hearing about their travels around the world, the different cultures from our cities and just how much the world has to offer us filled my heart with such inspiration.
How do I always get so lucky to meet and work with people who enlighten my soul and perspective of life will always be beyond me. This thing that I call “work” has given me so much more to life than I expected. It gave me sweet loving clients turned friends like these two. It offers me opportunity and growth, inspirations and perspective.
I’m so thankful to always meet amazing people like Patricia and Jesus because they’re the ones who make it so easy to say, “I love my job and what I do”.
