Saray and Luis came all the way down from San Francisco for us to capture their maternity session. It was not just any maternity session for them, but their rainbow baby.
If some of you don’t know what a rainbow baby is, it’s definitely something to celebrate, love and cherish The name coined for a healthy baby born after losing a baby due to miscarriage, infant loss, stillbirth, or neonatal death. The name “rainbow baby” comes from the idea of a rainbow appearing in the sky after a storm, or after a dark and turbulent time.
What an honor it was to be their photographers for such a special moment in their journey.
Saray had no vision for her maternity photos and totally give us full trust and creativity. So you know I had to get her in that river!! I’ve always admired the water every time we photograph here so I was excited she was 100 percent down.
It absolutely became one of my favorite photos.
