This sweet couples engagement session at Knights Ferry in Oakdale was more beautiful than I can imagine. The beautiful wheat fields and the hilltops that met against a lovely river made for the perfect location. I instantly knew why Edith and Gabe chose this location. This had adventurous and spontaneous written all over it and that totally describes who they are. They both share the love of outdoor activities and that has easily become one of their go to dates when they spend quality time together.
So there’s no surprised that Gabe would pick a beautiful location at South Lake Tahoe to pop the question! The plan was to go to Tahoe with Edith’s family and have Gabe’s family met them there as a surprise when she said yes! They all headed to the lake to ‘explore’ and of course take some photos. Gabe made it a point that he specifically wanted photos with Edith against the crystal clear water behind them. As a few photos were taken he mentioned that his shoe was ‘untied’ and as he got down on one knee he pulled out the beautiful ring. Edith looked down to only be in total shock that her best friend was asking for her hand in marriage. As she said YES, Gabe’s family viewing from afar came shouting with joy and a handful of balloons to celebrate the exciting news! Their hearts full of joy because they were able to share this special moment with both side of their families! We’re so excited to capture these two and more of their love story this coming October 10, 2020. Talk about the perfect wedding date!
