South Lake Tahoe is such a beautiful place. I’ve never seen a lake so blue.
We were surrounded by so many towering mountains. As we drove 30 minutes up the winding roads from our Airbnb, I instantly became nervous. I was nervous for Janet and Nick. So nervous for them to drive up this road. This was my first time at Emerald Bay. Let alone it was my SECOND time here at South Lake Tahoe. I had no idea the roads where this crazy and steep.
I didn’t expect for the roads to be 10 mph when turning the winding roads. But once we got to our destination we were left to find that there was no parking! We had to drive back down the curving road once again. Matt then made the decision to park on the side of the road next to towering rock walls. So this meant we had to hike to our location, the busy road as our trail. But I wasn’t complaining. I just bought new hiking boats and I was so excited to break them in!
As we were hiking our way to the location, we found a little dirt trail. This road lead us to the best view I’ve seen of Tahoe yet. We saw the big blue lake. The beautiful big mountains.
We had the pleasure in serving our beautiful couple, Janet and Nick. Their vibes. The energy. Their best friend like relationship. An absolutely perfect duo. We are so lucky and grateful to do this job. We get to meet beautiful people and connect with them. All the beautiful places that we see. The experiences we get to take forever in our life. We’re extremely thankful.
